"Why do sellers keep selling fake products? And why do consumers keep on purchasing it?"

"Class A units" or "knock-offs" are terms we know pertaining fake products. It is illegal and is made to copy a brand’s product, name or logo. This can be seen to almost every market. Any type of imitation products could be clothes, bag, shoes, toys, tools and the most common, electronics.
People keep on purchasing fake or synthetic products because of its cheap price. They want to project that they are using original in trend products, but can’t afford the authentic one so just settle on class A. While the good benefits and quality the consumer can get is not to be expected. Some people think that original products cost too much, so they just settle for substandard to satisfy their needs. Some examples are earphones, phone cases, this are the type that people often say the quality of fake and original is almost the same. Which may or may not be true. Since it is a low class product, it will cost you more in the end. Especially with fake electronic products like a smartphone charger that ruins your battery, fake batteries that explode or bloat when it is over charged, cables that stop functioning in few weeks. Since these fake products do not have warranty, consumers cannot take back their money if the product is defective.
Producers only care how they will profit. They do
not think of the consumer’s benefit. They settle to cheap
materials that made their product fragile and dangerous,
copy and produce branded products and sell it for a cheap
price. Totally illegal.
Why not establishing own brand? Doing that will cause
them a lot of money, and buyers may not recognize
their new products. They will not get the same sales they
get from selling imitations. But this way is legal than
selling fake goods. At least doing that will give them a
clear conscience. That made them also honest to
consumer. When it comes to quality and service the term
“less is more” is not applicable. You have to offer all good benefits you can give to consumer to satisfy their needs and satisfaction, by that you can trust them to be your regular costumers.
