"Feb Fair 2017: Celebrate your Hearts day at UPLB"

February is the month we’re we celebrate LOVE; giving chocolates to someone you love or sometimes flowers; roses is the common flower of all; but it doesn’t mean this month is exclusive for couples only. People of all ages can celebrate Valentine ’s Day; the single, the heartbroken, the happy couple, and married life. You can also celebrate it with your friends, family, boyfriend/girlfriend, God, and also your ex.
Eating at the fancy restaurant or dating somewhere else is a common thing to do. Why not try something else? Somewhere you can enjoy, eat, buy, relax, and scream your heart out at night.
Every month of February, University of the Philippines Los Baños(UPLB) located in the towns of Los Baños and Bay in the province of Laguna. has a five (5) day event and that is ‘feb fair’ their theme for this year is ‘Layag’.
At February 14 – first band will perform is Mayonnaise
February 15 – second is Chicosci and Brownman Revival
February 16 – third is 6 cyclemind and Ebe Dancel
February 17 – fourth is Autotelic
February 18 – and the last one is Moonstar 88
You can scream and sing along to their music to your heart’s content.
For those who haven’t come this year don’t worry. There will be a next year!
There are so many things you can do in this event; Riding to their fun and exciting rides like Ferris wheel, Horror train, mini Anchors Away, Caterpillar and mini Flying Fiesta. There are also mini games you can play with and if you want to have ‘henna’ and ‘tattoo’ UPLB feb fair has it. I know this makes you hungry after this so take out your wallets and follow the scent of food calling to you.
There are tons of food vendors; selling so much food you can ever imagine! Fried, grilled, sizzling, steamed, and many more; don’t forget the drink and dessert! They even sell Korean and Japanese food! And the best part is the food is very affordable. They also sale clothes, gadgets, perfume, make-up, soaps, bags, plants, figurines and many more; from hats to shoes, ear rings to anklets, toys to key chain and posters to figurines.
Walking around makes you exhausted why not try to relax to their wide and grassy field; just lay out your blanket and breathe. Enjoy your time looking at the blue white sky, kids playing, friends laughing and sweet couples cuddling each other (well its valentine’s right?)
If you think it’s over. It’s not; because the fun is just starting; when the clock strikes at 6 o clock. I recommend you to watch bands live performance.
