STI College held its 22nd National Youth Convention in Sta. Rosa, Laguna with the tagline, "Soaring high with 21st century skills" This is an annual educational activity attended by many students of different branches of STI. Stand, Expand, Breakout, we are called the STI'ers. This program teaches the students to learn more and explore their abilities. You just have to listen and adapt all the advices came from the experienced speakers. There were three speakers to encourage and teach the students on their own way.
 

One of the speakers is Mr. Arun Gogna, he is a pastor. He is veteran when it comes to speaking and encouraging in front of many people. He started his speech asking the students, "How to stand out in today's world?"
He discussed to students the 5C's of success starter pack.
 

1. CLARITY
"The universe responds to clarity"
He said that, with success comes greater UNCERTAINTY.
 

2. COMPETENCE
"Find your strength. Focus on it."
He said, you need to believe in yourself.
Everyone have their own strength and talent that given by God. You just have to use it in a good way.
 

3. COURAGE
"Doing it afraid is the essence of courage."
He inspires students by saying, you need to face your fears so that you will be able to explore and learn more from yourself and to others.
 

4. COACHING
Look for mentors and learn from them.

Learn from other people to explore your skills and knowledge. Learning is not just inside the classroom.
 

5. CHARACTER
Integrity is when your "public self" is consistent with your "private self"
 

"Success starts with you but it should never be about you.” He taught us to reach your dreams but not just for yourself. You need other people to be able to learn and do things you want.

 

He said to everyone that the 5C’s which is Clarity, Competence, Courage, Coaching and Character should start with yourself. He is an inspiration because when he speaks, it touches everyone’s heart. He made sure that all the listeners will learn from him.
