"The Bubbly professor "

   Jessa Mercado

"A teacher or educator is a person who provides education for students. The role of teacher is often formal and ongoing, carried out at a school other place of formal education. In many countries, a person who wishes to become a teacher must first obtain specified professional qualifications or credentials from a university or college."

Mrs. Remilyn L. Cabrera. 46 years old. A bubbly professor; happily married and things that make her happy is her family. She was inspired to be a teacher because both of her parents are teachers.

In her college days she took B.S Food Technology major in Food Preservation. She choose this course because there are a lot of raw materials or foods that needs to be preserve and it’s true.

In her 18 years of teaching she learned new skills and that is baking. The best part of her job is when they’re at the kitchen laboratory with her students and the worst part about her job when some of her students are late (common problems of all teachers) and didn’t bring their ingredients to cook for their cooking exercise.

Every professor has a goal or something they want to achieve. Mrs. Cabrera hope to achieve is to see her students are satisfied with her teaching and they applied it into their daily lives, her teaching skills is more on demonstration so that her students can understand.

Mrs. Cabrera’s own definition of good teaching; “Good teaching is something you can motivate students for good and influence one’s life.”
