        The 22nd national youth convention held for the first time at Monochrome Nuvali; an annual event where students from STI are exposed to inspiring talks by noteworthy speakers. They are expected to open their minds and actively listen to the different topics given by the speaker. These will help them broaden their knowledge, get to know of the real world with the help of respected academic and industry practitioners. Their motto is ‘Learning is not only inside the classroom.’

        There are three speakers and one of them is Mrs. Carelle Mangaliag. “She is the founder, owner and Chief Training Officer of Motivating Minds. After which, she started Trainstation Inc. in the Philippines where she is currently the CEO and President. She also founded and started a training company in Singapore called Trainstation Private Limited. She has established TrainStation in HongKong. Trainstation provides NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Training in the Philippines and all over Asia, educating through ENTERTRAINMENT– Combining Entertainment and Training.” – by trainstation.com

        Her topic is about Expansion pack; she explain what is NPL (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is about programming yourself to have better communication, and get better output from the people around you by communicating the right way,

        When you understand the people around you, working or living with them becomes easier. That’s because you would be able to identify the approach you need to get what you want, like how to get someone to become productive at work, for instance.

        Aside from personalities, there are three kinds of modalities one should identify: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Modality is how people learn and absorb information; personality is how they relate.

 

        Auditory people need to hear “I love you” or “I’m sorry,” for instance. When buying a cell phone, they ask people around about the model they want. Visual people have to see it. Before purchasing a phone, they have already searched it on the Web or read parts of its manual.

 

        Kinesthetic types like to touch. They buy a phone and tinker with it, and figure out how it works along the way. They like movement, dancing, cooking, said Mangaliag.

        She also teach the pattern interrupts. For example when you came home and your super stress about your job but your kids are anxious for you to come home. You need to get rid of it by wiggling yourself to interrupt the stress and think about your child waiting for you to home.
